TERMINATOR: DARK FATE Star Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals What Role He’s Playing In The Movie

There’s been a lot of speculation about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s role in Terminator: Dark Fate but during an unexpected Reddit AMA, the actor has finally come out to make things clear. Read all!

Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the Terminator franchise with Tim Miller’s Dark Fate but who – or what – will he be playing this time? Up until now, there have been some rumours that he would be taking on the role of the man who was used as the basis for the T-800 but the legendary actor has seemingly shed more light on the issue in an unexpected Reddit AMA.

When one fan asked him why his character in the movie looks the way he does, Schwarzenegger pointed to him actually reprising the role of the T-800 rather than a regular human.

“I’m a cybernetic organism,” the actor replied, using a quote from Terminator 2: Judgement Day“Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton.”In other words, he’s basically doing exactly what he did in Terminator: Genisys and, well, we’ve been there and done that when it comes to Arnie portraying an aged version of the formerly formidable robot.

There is, of course, a chance he’s toying with fans and it’s definitely interesting that he was barely featured in that first trailer.

The response to the Terminator: Dark Fate teaser hasn’t been overly positive and that seems to be the result of the huge amount of VFX and Fast & Furious style action scenes.
