Zack Snyder has unveiled another scene he shot for Justice League in which it’s revealed that General Swanwick was supposed to be outed as Martian Manhunter in the movie’s director cut, “Snyder Cut.”
A new Zack Snyder storyboard reveals a cut scene from the Snyder Cut of Justice League revealing Harry Lennix’s General Swanwick turning into the DCEU’s Martian Manhunter. One of the longest-held DCEU fan theories was that Swanwick was actually the alien J’onn J’onzz, and this new image confirms that to be true.
Sharing some storyboards on his Vero account, Snyder captioned one “This is something that you probably didn’t know,” and in another said that he had filmed the entire sequence before exiting the film, except for Lennix’s part, which he intended to shoot in Los Angeles but never got to. The character never appeared in the finished film.
